All clients of TOSD enjoy 3 months free support via email for any new web site installation. Ongoing Support Agreements are available at the completion of that period.

Free support covers:

  • Setting up server side email accounts as required
  • Configuring the web hosting accounts including SSL facilities if required.
  • Configuring web applications to reflect the required functionality
  • Operational advice relating to the core server based applications created by TOSD. Typically this would include such things as websites based on Content Management Systems, eCommerce facilities (online shops), forums & blogs.
  • Support for any faults that may occur.

Free support does not include:

  • Advice on desktop applications including office and image editing programs.
  • Issues involving LANs, Firewalls, Windows, Browsers or any other desktop applications that may effect the way a client’s browser accesses the Internet or displays websites.
  • Specific advice on setting up email accounts in a client’s email program. Note that all information required to set up an email program to access the server based email account will be supplied by TOSD. Setting up their own email program with the information supplied is a client responsibility.
  • Modifications that were not part of the agreed proposal.

Support Agreements

Support Agreements are available to all TOSD clients after the expiry of the 3 months free support period. Support Agreements cover:

  • Help and Advice relating to a client’s website application(s)
  • Complete hosting account backups (all files and databases) – monthly or weekly
  • Website application updates

Website application updates are the most effective way of ensuring that websites remain secure from malicious attack and account backups mean that regardless of the reason for failure, the entire hosting account can be restored.
